William born 1820 at Bromsgrove,Worcestershire.Married to Sarah. Children _ Ellen born 1845, Frederick born 1847, Henry born 1850, Samuel born 1851. Above taken from 1851 Census. I am trying to work back to the birth of William Dutton, son of Matthew Dutton of Marston in Buckinghamshire. William was a Liveryman of the Clockmakers Co. from 1766-94 and entered into a partnership with Thomas Mudge in 1755 and took over the business in 1771. The firm of Mudge and Dutton, of Fleet st . London,were well known makers of Clocks and Watches. Can anyone help? Carole. |
