Hi Andy, I'm Crystals mum, Alison. Charles Edwin Easton was the grandad I never knew, but have heard so much about. Am I related to you in any way? Isn't this exciting? If you have any more info, please can you let me know, I am so grateful as we are doing a tribute file to my Grandad, Charles Edwin and are giving it to my Mum as soon as we have all the information we can find on genes reunited and ancestry. Sadly, my mum (through family circumstances) was unable to see her dad from the age of 7 and never got over the loss of him. So I feel this will help her. Thank you so much for all the info, it's putting together a whole family history for our project, which is a tribute to my Grandfather, Charles Edwin Easton, born 1898, for my Mother, who sadly (through family circumstances) was unable to see her father from the age of 7. She never got over the loss, so we are trying to find details of him and seem to be (hopefully) finding a couple of distant relatives into the bargain. How wonderful!
