Member Since: February 2006 Posts: 41 Send Message	I have an Eliza Eley who married widower John Merriman in middle of 1871 and had a son Samuel in November the same year. She was 30, her father John Elely was a boatman. He was 40 and his father was Samuel Merriman a waterman as was John. Apart from someone contacting me to say she's a direct descendant of a sister Mary - I have no more info on her. She died while her son was very young. in fact both sides of the family end with this information and one census in 1841 for the Merriman family.
