Does anyone have information regarding GEORGE ELLIS born 1825 who died in York in 1879. He worked as an Innkeeper and Horsekeeper. He married Sarah Dalby in Pocklington in 1848. Their son, also GEORGE ELLIS, was born in Pocklington in 1854 and married my great grandmother MARY WELBURN at Bishop Auckland in 1877. George junior worked as Boots in an hotel at Bishop Auckland.
