Hi, I'm trying to contact anyone with the surname of Ennis born in or around Abertillery, Blaina and Six Bells in South Wales. I understand that my great grandad emigrated from somewhere in Ireland and moved to Blaina. His name was Edgar Ennis.
My grandad was born 18th October 1887 in Blaina, his name was Ernest John Ennis he married Agnes Brown on the 8th February 1913 they lived at Cwm Street, Abertillery, they then moved to Vivian Street Abertillery, they had four children, three boys and one girl, their names were Wilfred (Wilfred was my father who married Dorren Matthews), John, Mabel also Vernan who passed away when he was aged about 11 years of peritonitis.

Hoping to hear more

Jackie Mills nee Ennis (born 1948 now living in the West Midlands moved after the Six Bells Pit Explosion)
