I'm trying to trace relatives of my Great Grandfather from the Yorkshire area, John Farrar, born around 1870, who married Mary Hannah Howells. I am having difficulty locating him on Census information etc.
Any help gratefully received.

Their marriage certificate would really help - there are too many John Farrars from Yorkshire!

Hi Lindy Lou
Thanks for your help with this one too!
I've managed to track back both my mother's parents really easily but I'm struggling with my Dad's.
If you don't mind me being cheeky, where do you do your searches?
Regards
Jennifer
