Either buy the birth cert - or look for the family in 1911.

One other option you could try

Look on freebmd for a marriage between Farrow and Phoebe Elizabeth - that's assuming the mother was married when she had the boy

Flick

Flick Report 15 Mar 2010 16:54

I had time on my hands - so is this the marriage?

I can't give the 'full' picture - I don't have a sub, and I can't afford to use my precious credits for other people

Flick

If you wish to know without ANY doubt about Robert's parentage, you need to purchase the birth certificate

Michelle

Michelle Report 15 Mar 2010 17:20

I completely agree with you opinion there Flick about buying certs, it's the only way to be sure.

However it would also been good for you to mention that's a free snippet and not the full data from the 1911. That could have been really confusing for the person looking for their ancestors.

There isn't anything else on the 1911 image to indicate anything suspiscious.

I cannot find a death for Pheobe Elizabeth Farrow either?

WayneTracey

WayneTracey Report 15 Mar 2010 17:30

Hmmmm

Could this be Albert?

Births Jun 1910
COOPER Albert Charles F King's L 4b 290

Births Jun 1908
Cooper Walter Ernest F King's L. 4b 301

To solve this, as suggested you'd ned to order a few certs, but on immediate impressions, she's more than a housekeeper! Looks like they have tried to hide it on the census?

Michelle

Michelle Report 15 Mar 2010 17:35

Michelle

Michelle Report 15 Mar 2010 17:38

i think i will order them

WayneTracey

WayneTracey Report 15 Mar 2010 17:39

Flick,

it's not about being precise it's about informing the person of the data you have found.

Without any explaination attached or even a request for more info from someone else, you put that data there as if it were complete... and it wasn't.

Upon the full data being found we solved a problem for the person.

it's not about being better or precise or anything else, but presenting the facts correctly!
