Member Since: April 2007 Posts: 2 Send Message	Finlinson One Name Study I am interested in all Finlinsons in UK from 1600s to about 1900. I have a large database from which I'm pleased to help others searching for this name. My own descent is from a James Finlinson born in Edinburgh and baptised at Haddington, Scotland in 1814. He was the son of James Finlinson and his wife Elizabeth,nee Wilkinson. I strongly suspect that both these were of Cumbrian descent but am unable to find the link. Any help would be so much appreciated.
