Dianne George nee Firth, I'm looking for members of my mother's family. Her name was Stella Firth born 1910 in Hull. Her parents were Herbert Firth B1881, and Henrietta Hopwood, b1883. Herbert was born in Selby and his parents were James Firth b 1855 and Sarah A.Pullen b1857. There were other children Bertha b 1889, Edgar F b1898, Gerald P b1882, James H b 1885, Sarah N, b 1888, and Sydney b 1887. I did not know these siblings existed until I started my research. Are their children/grandchildren out there? Apart from Edgar who was born in Hull, all the others were born in Selby. My Mum Stella married Bernard Firth (a Pontefract branch!) in 1937. |
