Trying to find Florence

I am trying to find more information on Martin Florence born in 1861 in St John's, which is part of the Virgin Islands, and is one of the American colonies. Martin came over to England, met and married a lady from Boston, Lincolnshire called Sarah Reynolds (born 1858). They settled in Coventry, Warwickshire and had 5 children, Martin, Henry, Elisabeth, Joseph and Frederick. Henry married my grandma's sister, Gertrude Richardson and their daughter, Marjorie, was my godmother. I would really like to find out how and why Martin came over here and how he met Sarah. If anyone has any information or can put me in touch with who or where to look I would be very grateful. Christine |
