Further to my earlier request, I have made a mistake in my grandfather's year of birth...(too many late nights doing research!). It should be 1883 not 1893! Apparently this Frederick Walter Fowler was born to Mary Ann Fowler from Fawler and his father's name is not given on the birth certificate I now have in my posession, so he may not be my grandfather after all, as on my grandfather's marriage certificate, his father is stated as being Walter Charles Fowler.
