Ritson Frears sailed to Bermuda in 1831 to work at the Royal naval Dockyards, then returned to Cumberland in 1841.
He had eight children. I am researching his eldest daughter Barbara and her husband John Henderson, iron miner. I can find nothing about him except Arlecdon on the marriage cert. (11 Nov. 1865) Barbara was employed at Muncaster castle.
