TRYING TO FIND J.W.FURBISHER HE WAS A PRIVATE IN THE ROYAL ARMY MEDICAL CORPS THEN LATER AS A 2ND LIEUTENANT IN THE ROYAL IRISH RIFLES BETWEEN THE YEARS 1914-1920. MY GRANDFATHER WAS J.W.FURBISHER AND HE WAS IN THE BOER WAR, I HAVE HIS MEDAL AND I KNOW HIS HISTORY. SO IS THIS PERSON ABOVE THE SAME PERSON WHO WAS IN THE RAMC AND ROYAL IRISH RIFLES. HAVING THOUGHT THAT THE NAME FURBISHER WAS UNUSUAL I HAVE ALSO GOT 2 MORE FURBISHER'S I AM INTERESTED IN, AS FOLLOWS:- PRIVATE 3/1671 JOSEPH H FURBISHER 3RD BATTALION YORKSHIRE LIGHT INFANTRY 1914-1920. DRIVER 52707 JAMES FURBISHER ROYAL ENGINEERS 1914-1920. |
