I am looking for anyone descended from the GEARD family of Oldham, Lancashire. They had links further back with Yeovil, Somerset. The latest I have found them was on the 1930 Electoral Register on Maple Street and Brunlees Street, Oldham. If anyone knows anything I would dearly love to hear from you - it's a long story!

Hi,

I believe I am related to a Betsy Maria Geard. My great grandparents were Richard Hampson and Jane Gard who lived in Montacute in Somerset, Jane's mother was Susan Stagg, also of Montacute and Susan was the daughter of Isaac Stagg and Betsy Geard. Betsy was born around 1788
