Trying to find any 20th century connections to the Giovannini (Travers) family who lived in Folkestone and St Leonards in the mid-1800s. Giulio Giuseppe Giovannini was a hotel manager - his children were James, Giulietta, Richard, Robert (Bob), Alfred, Louisa. Giulio was married to Mary Ann Travers (daughter of Samuel). James was my wife's great grandfather. We think he dropped the surname Giovannini on the advice of his father to get work. We'd really like to trace any connections with the other Giovannini brothers and sisters. Please contact [email protected]. David Knowles |
