Trying to find Gotobed

Hello! I am trying to find people with the surname Mott-Gotobed, my surname was changed when my grandad was christened Richard Mott Emile Gotobed. He had four brothers and one sister... One brother used the name Mott and another used the name Gotobed... It`s all very confusing! Any connections? Please let me know.

Hi Catherine,

My Great grandmother was Elizabeth Gotobed 1848 and her husband was Edward Mott also 1848.

They had Four children, Constance (my grandmother), Jessie (great aunt), Elijah (Grt uncle) & Matthew Gotobed Mott (grt Uncle).

I feel it is more than a co-incidence that you should be looking for Mott-Gotobed's.

Perhaps you would like to make contact and share trees?
