Just trying to see if anyone has any connection to my great-great-great grandfather James Hamilton who had his hat making business 'James Hamilton Hat & Cap Manufacturer' at 310-316 High Street, Kirkcaldy, Fife in the latter half of the 1800's. He was born in Leith in Edinburgh c1839 and was married to Barbara (Brown?) born c1840. He had a son James Brown Hamilton (c1862) who became a hatter himself and later moved to Lewisham, London. He had three daughters Eliza (c1861), Agnes (c1865) and Barbara (c1876).
