My fathers mothers maiden name was HANN. She was born to ALBERT and MARY HANN on 22/04/1909. In Swansea. No dates known of BMD for either of them My Gt Grandfather, ALBERT was born to SAMUEL (b. 1857) and MARY J (b.1862) HANN SAMUEL was born in PORTSMOUTH, MARY was born in PORTLAND Dorset. They had 6 children ALFRED G b1884 in Chard Somerset ALBERT E b 1885 in ' ' (Gt Gt Granddad) ELLEN E b 1889 in Swansea HILDA b 1895 in ' SAMUEL C b 1898 in ' ROBERT PRETORIA b 1900 in ' I believe all years of birth are correct Hope these details can be of help to someone. would appreciate anymore bits of information known Many thanks from chris |
