MARGARET JANE HARGREAVES (last known name COX)

I'm trying to find my grandmother (with extreme difficulty over the years!) who was Margaret Jane Hargreaves, daughter of John Hargreaves and became Margaret Cox when she married 1947.
She was born around the 1920s.

She is my father's mother and had my father, who she named Joseph Anthony Cox, in 1949 and then gave him up for adoption.

My father was born in Southport, Lancashire, which is also where my grandmother was living at the time which was in a house listed under her father, John Hargreaves.

Anyone with any information, if you could get in touch, that would be great.
