Find Ancestors

Please can someone please help me find a marriage or any info on Charles Harold and Florence Agnes Harold. These are the parents of Eric Berkley Harold b.abt. 1888 unknown where born, possibly India ?. Eric married Margaret Russell in 1921 Lanark, SCT. His parents are named on the marriage cert as Charles Harold occup Government Auditor - deceased and Florence Agens Harold nee Macdonald - deceased. Nothing is known about Charles and Florence, so not sure how to find them. Would be greatful for any help.

Maybe Eric coming in to Britain?

He is British and is a Clerk.

If you search at FIBIS just for the surname Harold the last item on the list of results has several births

Maybe we should not be assuming that you are not familiar with Eric's siblings?

On Scotlands people there is one death for a Charles Harold in 1904.
None for Florence Harold though.

Thats just going on his wife maybe being Scottish and they may have retired there as their son married there.
