Find Ancestors

I am trying to find a Eliza Harold and her father Richard Harold and all I know is that she married a Daniel Kefford in 1868 in Linton, Cambridge. Daniel and Eliza's children were Rosely, Florence, George and William.

Any help would be fantastic.

I also know that she was deaf as well but not sure whether it would state on the census?

the 1851 should say if she was deaf but the column is blank,

I take it you got her fathers name from the marriage cert, what other info is on the cert?

on the marriage cert its state that she was a servant at Manor House in Linton Cambridge.

I am not sure whether the 1841 census is right as it doesn't list Richard Harold.

Witness were Elizabeth Fortuck? and James Glafrock? and Richard Harold's occupation was as a labourer.

The census's I've listed are going back from the 1861 census that has an Eliza Harold working as a servant. Looking at the original it states she is a Dairymaid. Therefore I don't think this is the one you are looking for.

Does the marriage cert give her fathers occupation?

the 1881 census say's she was born Ashdon, cambridgeshire buy the 1871 says Ashdon, Essex

On the 1851 census Eliza's mother, Ann is a widow and down as daughter to the head of the house Benjamin Tabourn 1796 Staughton, Huntingdonshire.

I don't think the Eliza Harold on the census of 1841 etc is the one you are looking for because she appers on the 1881 census in the workhouse and your Eliza was married by then.
