Trying to find Hawksworth

Hi! I am trying to find if there is any info or link between John Hawksworth born Ardsley Yorkshire born c1785, who died c1872 and James Hawksworth born c1801 Sheffield Yorkshire. John was married to Elizabeth ?unkown and had 5 children between 1816 and1833. All born in Ardsley. James was married to Mary Ann Mallwin and they had 8 children between 1826 and 1844. All born Sheffield. I took a wrong turning in my research and only after getting the full BMD certificates did I find my mistake so now I know which is my line and that is John but have quite a bit of info on James and his desendents so am reluctent to distregard all my hard work, so it you have any info I will be very pleased.
