On the 1911 Canadian census Joseph Hayward is a boarder with the Hurst family in Toronto. He was born March 1888, England and emigrated 1910.

There's a border crossing of the Hayward family in 1923 at Niagara Falls. They were heading to Buffalo, NY. They were:
Joseph W., 35, chauffeur
Daisy, 32
Louie, 8
William, 7
Last permanent address was Ingersoll, Ontario.

Joseph had no relatives in Canada. Daisy lists her brother George Hann or Hawn?, 366 Atlas Ave., Toronto.
