Trying to find Hayward

I am trying to find some information about my Grandfather, he was of Portchester near Fareham in Hampshire. Henry John Hayward c.1919. He died 79 years of age in 1998. I am finding it very difficult to trace his family as his father died early, his mother left him and he was put in an orphanage, later to be raised by an Auntie Ethel. His grandfather was known as Dearo Hayward in the portchester area (so i believe). Do you have any info that you could share? Or some pointers...;-) Thank you Samantha King

Hi my name is Melany and I joined G.R. this week. I realise your message is quite old so you may have this info already.
"Dearo" Hayward was my great grandfather.His real name was George William Hayward and he was married to an Ellen Burgess.They had either 9 or 11 children - I'm still researching !
I have asked my mum but as she was the youngest child of their youngest child she doesn't know all her cousins. She is going to ask a cousin she is in touch with. I'll let you know if I find any more info.Melany
