I am trying to find any information regarding my Grandfather Isaac Hayward who married an Elizabeth Ambler my Grandmother, they lived in the Durham/Ferry Hill area, I think his fathers name was John Hayward and his mother Amelia, although they may have been his grandparents, they had 4 children,Violet in 1930, twins John Lothian and Sarah Jane and Patricia, they moved south in the mid 1940's i think?. I visited my relations back in the 1970's when I went back up North with my nan for a holiday, but can't remember where we went and she has since passed away, Although I do remember a robert? a rose? and Aunty Edna whose husbands name was Jim, I had two female cousins , one of which died a few years after my visit. Do these names ring a bell with anyone out there. |
