I am looking for info on George Hayward (born c1877) and his wife Edith Thomas, who were publicans of The White Lion Pub, 38-40 Alvin Road, corner Alvin Road and Sherbourne St, Clapham. Gloucester. This Pub was demolished, when Clapham was re-built. Age 24 in 1901 he was living 88 Sherbourne St, Gloucester with family. In 1939 had retired to live 28 Eastern Ave Glos. His father was also called George who was a Haycutter/Miller and was married to Martha. As well as George (Jnr) they had Walter, Sydney, Bertha, John & Frederick. All born Gloucester Area.
