Find Ancestors

I am trying to trace any connections with either Christopher 1804 born at Devonport { I believe} or my great grandfather George Perkins 1865 born at Mary Tavy, Devon, he was a Police Officer. His parents were farmers at MaryTavy, also George. He married Jessie Head in 1889, they had Primrose M 1890---Richard G.1892---Beatrice 1893[my grandmother} Reginald 1897. If anyone could help I would be most grateful Yours . Linda.

Devon records are notoriously unavailable.

You could try the Devon Family History Society:

They sell parish records in various forms, and I have never quite figured out how it works.

someone might be able to do a look-up for you. Someone there found my grx2 grfather's baptism in 1819 for me, giving me his parents' names, along with a brother I didn't know about.

I never know what people mean when they say things like "trace any connections with". Trace any connections of *who/what* with? Do you mean you're looking for a connection between Christopher Perkins 1804 and your gr-grfather 1865?
