Aren bertini Heap was my Grandad, He married Elsie Morris and had 3 children, Elsie,Thomas and William not sure of names of my Great-grandparents would love to know if anybody can help. I think Albert was born around 1880. They lived in Bury Lancs.

You beat me to it - I failed to find it under Heap to Morris, but it then came up by searching Morris to Heap!

Michelle - it is confusing on Free BMD, since 5 entries have that reference (it should usually be four):

It seems there are five entries because Elsie is listed once as Barrett and once as Morris -I can't remember seeing that before

Interestingly, there may be a birth registration for William's sister Elsie under Heap (mother's maiden name Barrett) - I'll check back again...

Elsie Morris c1892 Bury was adopted by William and Hannah Barratt see 1901 census

Aaron Bertini Heap (Bert?) has an entry on freeBMD for 1893.

He can be seen on the 1901 census with his father Laurence a Professor of Music.

If you buy the marriage certificate that David found for you, it should give you a lot more info - particularly the names of each party's fathers, and why Elsie is going under two different names!
