Member Since: December 2007 Posts: 8 Send Message	Janet, our Heptons come from Foggathorpe (Bubwith parish), close to Mkt Weighton. My wife is descended from Paul Hepton born in Foggathorpe, 1784 but he was illegitimate, no father listed, no clues, and we can't find a birth for his mother Judith Hepton, although Bubwith is full of Heptons (including the churchwardens). Ten years later, Judith married a farmer called Smith who was also a churchwarden and given the size of Bubwith, she must have been one of the Heptons there but we have been unable to find her birth. Who is your Hepton ancestor at Mkt Weighton?
