Trying to find the birth place of Richard Hitchcox who married Ann May in Ardley, Oxfordshire in 1771. He died in Ardley in 1818 aged 73, indicating a birth date of around 1745. Richard was shown with the Hitchcock variant spelling on the Bishop's transcript that recorded his marriage. Any information very gratefully received as this search is in its twelth year!! Hi Adrian, would love to see your tree. I have a cousin by marriage whose maiden name is Hitchcox, and she has hit a brick wall in her searches and I have offered to help. |
