Hello, I am John Fowler trying to trace the early history of my Gt Grand Father John Edward Fowler born abt 1869 possibly in Kingston. I would like information on the family of John Fowler (b c1830) married to 1)Martha, about 1856, 2)Mary Ann Peters(nee Jenkins) m1867, and 3) Elizabeth Avery m1884. John had the following children with his 1st Wife Martha: George Fowler (b1858), Charles (b1859), Emily (b1860. John's 2nd wife Mary Ann had the following children from her 1st marriage to William Peters: Eliza Ann Peters (b1850), William (b 1852), James (b 1854), George (b 1855), Charles (b 1858) and Thomas (b 1861). I believe John and Mary Ann may have adopted Edward Hodgines, who would become my Gt Grandfather John Edward Fowler who married Emma Wiles from Hackney in 1895. Any info would be very welcome. |
