looking for information about any Hodgson living in the St Johns Chapel/ Stanhope area of Weardale, Co Durham between 1700-1850. Especially interested in info on HANNAH HODGSON b c1801, daughter if John and Pheobe, who married a MATTHEW COLLING in around 1825 Thanks Laura

Hi Laura

I am also researching the Hodgsons of St Johns Chapel/ Stanhope area. I dont have Hannah and Matthew on my tree but I may have Hannahs father John (c1760) However Hannah Hodgson and Matthew Collin married on the 18th May 1822 at St Thomas The Apostle Stanhope.
