Trying to find Hogg

Looking for any information about George Hogg (my GGGG-Grandfather) born sometime around 1780 and married to Elizabeth and with connections to Richmond upon Thames (Surrey), Brentford, Isleworth and Ealing. His descendants had a lot of involvement with the river and worked for many generations as watermen (and/or lightermen) in this area. He may or may not have had a similar career. I believe that Elizabeth was probably born Elizabeth Green (b.1779/81) in Brentford and that they married in Ealing/Eling late in 1802. She lived to be quite old and appeared on a number of census. George appears to have died sometime before 1841. He may have come to Surrey/ West London from further afield as I am drawing a blank in continuing this line of the family back any further in that region. There is a possibility that the line originates from Canonbie in Scotland but I have not been able to come up with any proof of that so far. Any help gratefully received!...
