hi fellow searchers i am trying to find info on john francis holder who i believe is my grandfather all i know of him is his army number and tha he worked at the gas works tottenham n/london here it gets confusing as it seems my grandmother amy holder nee warner married a arthur f n holder in edmonton in 1941 he went missing perhaps john was a relative of arthur i cant get a trace on john, arthur was born in ashton somerset in 1920,AND DIED IN 2002 IN HITCHING HERTFORDSHIRE i believe, any info would be great thanks i have traced one john francis holder who WAS BORN IN 1919 IN PETERSFIELD,
I have scince traced a john f holder to a farm in harlow,herts, unfortunatly he passed away in 2001, but maybe someone knew him and may be able to confirm if this was the correct man.
i dont want to cause any distress or hurt to any one, but my father now suffers with parkinsons and he as never known the truth, i would just like to give him some kind of closure,
any little bit of info would be great.
