Hi, I'm trying to find living Relatives & info on - * Arthur Homewood born around c1865, he was married to a Winifred Grace (sorry have no surname). They had a Daughter- Emily Minnie Homewood born in 1892. Don't know if they had anymore children. *Emily was married to Thomas Huckle born 1892 died in 1970.They got married at St. Thomas church in Kenish town on 31/05/1925. They had 5 children-Thomas, Joan, Ronald, Len & Frank. If you can help please contact me. Thank you Lisa.

I don't know if this would be interesting to you. You may know it already anyway. There was an Arthur S. Homewood, b.1869: an actor, producer and theatre manager. I have always wondered which line of Homewoods he came from if, indeed, Homewood was the name he was born with. An entry in a theatrical who's who of the time gave his birthplace as Ilford – information perhaps supplied by himself. However, I think it mentioned that he had been at school in Eastbourne which suggests (perhaps) a connection with one of the many Sussex Homewood families? Possibly worth contacting the Theatre Museum in Covent Garden, London, for more information. The Museum closed in January 2007 but I believe there are still archivists on site who are willing to help with information. They also offer an excellent document on tracing theatrical family history.
