Looking for Hood(s) with connections with Ireland please. I should particularly like to make contact with any people who have knowledge of the Newtownstewart, Co. Tyrone connection around the late 1800's. My great-grandfather was Samuel Hood who had a brother, William who has been 'lost'. It was said that he went elsewhere, perhaps abroad, when his widowed mother moved to Belfast with Samuel to seek work. There may be a big connection on William's side so if anyone has any clues, please make contact!

I'm looking for a connection to Robert Hood who married Sarah Goldie......I think they're from Ireland

This is my mother's side of the family and her father Thomas had a brothers called William, Frank Robert and Sydney do these sound like family names.

I know Thomas was born in England
