Does anyomne have any further information on this person? He is the grandfather of my paternal (step) grandfather. Born in Birmingham and appeared to move around the country for work.

My g-g-father (Henry's son), Arthur Walker Horrocks was born in Cardiff in 1880 but the family later moved back to the Midlands. Arthur died on HMS Hampshire in 1916 (Lord Kitchener also on board). He was previously married to Emily Saxby (c.1883) of East Peckham, Kent. They appear to have divorced and Emily had the surname "Wright" at the time of Arthur's death and was living in Portsmouth.

I know Henry was married to someone called Fanny (no surname found) and that they also had children called Violet (c1881), Horatio or "Rashie" (c.1882) and May (c.1888).

Any help with extending this branch of my tree much appreciated.

Welcome to the boards David.

You have picked up on a thread that is over 10 years old, so unlikely that Peter is looking for replies now and in fact didn't return origianally to acknowledge information found for him.

you could try clicking on his name to send a personal message which GR will forward if he still uses the same email address he registered with them.

Whether he can receive messages, open them or be in a position to respond is another matter unfortunately.

Did you notice that the last post on here was in 2007 - and that Peter didn’t return to acknowledge the info?
