I am trying to trace any relatives of the HULME family from Bolton from 1830's onwards. My great grand father was Charles Hulme who was a chimney sweep. His son Thomas was my grandfather. Thomas died in 1947 aged 81. I know that on his death he had 2 sisters alive. Jane and her family, Betsy and her husband Andy. Also a niece called Florrie her husband Albert and their son Albert. On his funeral notice there are names which I am not sure if they are relatives. They are Mrs Chapman, Mrs Bustard, Mrs Crompton and Mrs Tattersall. If any of these names are familiar I would love to hear from you. Thomas also had another son called James, married to May and they had two children called Donald and Nora. Nora I believe was married to Ted. Any info would be so helpfull. |
