Charles Humfrey born Cambridge 1807 married Mary Ann ....... and had issue Marian (c1830 - 1902), Charles jnr (1834 - ?) and Louisa (1838 - married James Edmunds). Charles Humfrey jnr was a Manufacturing Chemist who lived in Chester. He married Anne Florence Whitter (died 1894) and had issue Charles (c 1860, a Chemical Engineer), Philip Graham (c 1863), Mariam/Marian (c 1864), Anne Kate (1866), William Augustus (c 1869), Frank Grenville (c 1871), Sidney Adolphus (1872), Florence Mary (1874), Louisa Phyllis (c 1877) and John Charles Willis Humfrey (1879) who invented the Humfrey-Sandberg wheel. Interested to exchange information on/with descendants. |
