Hi,We have either a George or Fredrick Jacques in our family,and we have family in Canada,but its my mothers cousin who emigratted out there,35 yrs or so ago.

My Grandad was Frank Jacques, who had a brother George Jacques, amongst other brothers and sisters. My dad is David Jacques (Frank's son), he had a brother Shirley (renamed Alan) who emigrated to Canada approx 38 years ago (ish) which would fit in with your timing also. Do you have any more info?
