NZ Seeking William James born Neath Wales 1850.Came to NZ in about 1875.He and his father Thomas were patternmakers and marine engineers Grandfather Rees James also a patternmaker in Neath..Family story William died in boiler room explosion around 1894, possibly at the Australian end of the Trans Tasman run, maybe on the ROTOMAHANA. Seeking proof of death. Married to Mary Jane Campbell, died TB in 1891.Boys put in orphanage( in Dunedin which one?)and girl brought up by capt of the ship.
