Find Ancestors

I am trying to find details of the marriage of Bartlett James to Francisca de Silva probably about 1854/5 in Brazil. There were 5 children born there. Anna 1856, Edgar 1858, Alice 1863, George 1864 & Helena 1856. The family moved to London in time for the 1871 census.

Found this in FMPast. Sorry-I couldn't find the corresponding entry for Francisca.

Thanks to all who responded. The surname De Silva was a guess, taken from the census record which gives (de S). maybe this is incorrect. I am also trying to find details of the sister of Frances/Francisca. Emminia (c1830) was the possible wife of Isaac Harper a British subject. This marriage also took place in Brazil, c 1860. Any help here would be appreciated.

No luck on my part for that one.

well Emminia Harper is down as sister in law on the entry I posted
