My grandfather, name as subject heading, married my garndmother Beatrice Helena Fletcher about 1914 (their first child was born 1915). He was a "master hairdresser" and died about 1929/30. I think the marriage took place in Richmond, Surrey.
That's about all I know about him. Can anyone help with any further information - his parentage, any siblings, service in WW!, etc.

Hi Julie,
Thanks for all of that although I already had the stuff about Beatrice and her parents. I didn't know she'd been married before she married Charles. So I suppose she would have been Beatrice Edney or Beatrice Carpenter at the time of her marriage to Charles. Their first child was registered in Hackney so maybe that's where they were married.
