Hi I am struggling to find any details about my mother's side of the family and I was hoping that someone might be able to help. My mother (Shirley Brenda) was born in the Christchurch area in early 1939 and at the moment the only information I have is that her mother's maiden name was Harsent. I believe her father's name was ??? Axton (as this is listed on my mother's marriage certificate) and that maybe she was later adopted or her mother re-married a Jenner - my mother used Jenner as her maiden name on most documents. If anyone can shed some light on this I would really love to hear from you Mark |
