Hi my name is MARILYN JOHNSON I am looking for any relatives of my father RONALD JOHNSON born 1916 in Clapton in London. His mother was Helen Johnson. The story is HELEN JOHNSON lived in Stanford-in-the-Vale with 8 brothers and sisters. Most of the sisters went into service working in London. HELEN JOHNSON worked as a housemaid in a big house in Clapton Road London. She then got pregnant by the gentleman who owned the house and gave birth to a boy in October 1916 (my father) at a Salvation Army Hospital in London. My father RONALD FRANCIS JOHNSON was then given to his grandparents living in Stanford-in-the-Vale and was brought up in the village. My father never saw or heard of his mother again. I would like to hear from anyone that can help me please. Thank you. |
