David Jones b.1860 in Manchester married Matilda Heaps b.1862 in Liverpool. They married in June 1881 after producing my grandfather Edward Heaps Jones out of wedlock in November 1880. They went on to have other sons and daughters. Matilda last appeared in the 1891 census. The 1901 census shows David then `married` to Louisa who survived him when he died in 1923. Can anyone tell me what happened to Matilda ? If she died between 1891 and 1901 what was the year of her death. Has anyone got any details of David and Louisa's marriage. Louisa was born in India in 1867 and listed as a British Subject in the 1901 census. Trevor Jones |
