trying to trace john hughes or could be john hughes jones born esclusham c 1865 - married eliza davies - he was her second husband so he could have been married before - they marriied in the north east of england although both born esclusham - she originally moved to durham areand then on to newbiggin on sea area - miners. believe he may have been an old friend or part of extened family as they married in north east but bothcame from same village - his marriage to her shows as john hughes jones but 1901 census is john hughes they had at least four children born between circa 1890 and 1895 john, james edward/edwin and enoch - i can't trace any of them - their surnames were hughes - eliza and john married in 1888 - any of these name familiar. |
