Hello, This is a very long shot but I am desperate! My grandmother was Susannah Morris, born in 1894 on the Welsh/Shropshire border. I have her birth certificate and her father's name was Thomas Morris, her mother was Frances Morris nee Jones. This is all I know - I cannot find Susannah on the 1901 census, either in England or Wales; I have tried every search combination I know. She had one sister, Mary Elizabeth, born 1901 and I have found a child of that age with parents Fanny and Thomas Morris, but surely you would not use a nickname on an official form? Can anyone out there help me find Frances Jones or Thomas Morris - or indeed my grandmother Susannah Morris (I don't think she was a figment of my father's imagination). Many thanks Chris Smith |
