Member Since: July 2006 Posts: 0 Send Message	Looking for any connections to the following Jowitt family from Aberford: John was born c1801 in Aberford - possibly the son of Samuel and Mary Jowitt. He may have had a sister, Elizabeth, born c1806. John Jowitt died in Aberford in 1883. John married Hannah Manners on 17 Feb 1824 in Aberford. They had at least 8 kids - James, William, Sarah, Anne, Elizabeth, John, Charles and Mary. Charles, born 1838, married Sarah Spink in 1861 and they had 8 kids as well, all born in Aberford - Jane, Mary Elizabeth, Sarah, Martha Ann, John, Thomas, William and Mary Beatrice.
