hi i am trying to trace back to my grt grt grandmother mary short in 1841 she was aged 9yrs estimated birth yr 1832 address wybourne's court greenwich kent. She had an illegitimate child called caroline elizabeth in 1857 while she was still in kent, she moved to grimsby and married a john bunting in 1860 aprox, she had a daughter, christiana in 1862. I would very much like to trace any family going back before this, i think and i ONLY think there may be a connection to surrey please can anyone out there help, i have applied for her birth cert from greenwich ' and they can't trace it. i only found out her name was mary, by christianas birth cert. Her daughter Caroline Elizabeth, married Richard Joys, she was widowed in 1889 at age 31, and married again in1896 to John Marchant. many thanks Carole |
